Case is FOUR years old!

Our kid is four entire years old.

...and he wanted a Space Shuttle Birthday Party.
Sweet boy.

Mommy had SO much fun drawing and cutting out his homemade party decorations.
Including his bleach pen pinterest project I found.
You use a bleach pen to draw on a colored t-shirt.
Well Mommy didn't really think about the fact bleach would turn a blue shirt pink...
Oh, well. :)

...

This year, his birthday actual fell on a Saturday, party day.

Nanny, planned to come down Friday morning, and treat Case to lunch and to something special.
She mentioned Boyd's orchard, and we quickly agreed he would absolutely love that.

So, the day before party day, Nanny came into town.
Picked up the almost four year old and headed to Boyd's orchard.
They had lunch, and enjoyed the petting zoo, and the playground.

Later she told me, how she told Case he could pick out anything he wanted from the gift shop.
They have all sorts of little toys, trinkets, books etc.
"Nanny, I just want pun-kins"

So Case, came home with four pun-kins, and as he told Nanny...
he wanted four pun-kins.
One for Daddy, Mommy, Case & Baby Rhett.

I love his simple, precious four year old heart.

...
Back to party day, Matt and I wanted to keep it simple this year.
We just had family over this year to celebrate, we had salad and Papa Johns.
I bought a huge box of cupcakes from Sam's club instead of a birthday cake, and it worked out so well.
(They were amazing by the way - so yummy! We were all impressed!)

Rhetter's enjoyed the party and a cupcake, or two after he woke up from his nap.

Then it was on to cupcakes kisses, and opening presents!

Crazy boys!

The next few hours were spent opening presents, hugs, kisses and thank yous.
Laughing at Rhett putting random things on his nose and running around.
Pulling out drills, screws, and finding batteries to put together all the new toys.
Watching UK lose.
Laughing, enjoying each other and getting refills on cupcakes.

Thankful for our wonderful family, and being able to get together to celebrate our
big four year old.

Happy birthday sweet boy.
We love you a ridiculous, endless amount.

Oh,
and so I don't ever, ever forget...

This is our new Love you conversation with Case.

"I love you, Case"
"I love you too"
"I love you more."
"I love you all."
                                      -Case, 4 years old.
