So Close, Yet So Far Away!

It's almost here, I am 27 weeks today, which means I am only one week away from my third trimester!

Oh my!

I have been struggling with wanting to nest, but trying to wait. I have the idea to scrub down the entire house and then I think if I do the EXTREME cleaning now it won't feel clean and fresh come November. I know I'm crazy, this is what a stay at home pregnant woman thinks about!

Matt has started his review classes for the PE Exam in late October. He has been super stressed about it, and has already dove into studying. I am so proud of him, he actually knows a few people in his class from college and another guy from church, and they have already set up some times to study. I know he will do great!

I'm selfishly missing him around here though, but I know Case and I can get through the next couple of months, and we know we are pretty lucky to have a Husband and a Daddy that loves us so much to work so hard for our family. :)

I'm looking forward to painting, and getting Case's big boy room set up and to set up Rhett's nursery so that it's his nursery instead of just Case's old room.
(Have I mentioned we have named baby boy #2 Rhett Galley??)

Rhett is wiggling and shaking around like crazy right now, I am feeling some serious elbows and knees in there! :)

I can't believe how fast this pregnancy has flown by, the summer is slipping away, and I am SO very thankful for the cooler weather. It has been absolutely gorgeous outside. We will be spending a lot more time outside again, I have had to avoid the heat this summer I couldn't even handle it the last month or two!

I also can't believe that our little man will be turning two in less than a month! We are looking forward to his birthday party - probably planning something outside, maybe a cookout at a park.  I don't think I can handle doing everything at the house this year. I will be 8 months preggo and I am anticipating the exhaustion of being a huge pregnant woman by then!

I'm starting to picture having a newborn again. I can't wait to sort through and fold all the teeny tiny onesies and newborn clothes again, and have a teeny tiny baby fall asleep curled up and on my chest. I can't wait to see Case fall in love with his little brother. Oh my goodness! I CAN'T WAIT!!! - Well I can because we have a ton of stuff to do before we are ready...and of course we want baby to grow and develop for the next three months...but you know what I mean! :)

A Trip To The Country

Every single time I get into the country I wonder why we don't already live there. We are planning though. One day we will have a home in the country, and our babies and dogs will run around like crazy, and Matt and I will sit on our back porch drinking sweet tea (or beer) and soaking up every single moment!

Ohh, I can't wait!

Until then, we have some pretty great friends that let us visit them and their
G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S home and land.

I mean...look at this picture. I think God opened up the clouds just so that he could have a better view :)

Chase and Alisa invited us and some friends over to enjoy some ah-mah-zing smoked chicken and ribs from Chase's new smoker. YUM. We had also been planning to take Case man to visit their horses, and he absolutely loved it. They have the perfect long country driveway, and we rolled down his window and stopped by the fence and said "Look Case! Horses!" He said "Horsey" about 100 times, and all the horses ran over to the fence to greet him, it was priceless!

Then we got up close and personal, and Case said "Horsey!" about 100 more times.

...and Chase and Alisa found a toad earlier in the day, and saved it just so Case could check it out!

Then, of course we got to hang out on the tractor, and look how stinking adorable Alisa is backing up the tractor in her dress and flip flops!

That is a little guy on a big tractor! :)

I don't think there is anything better than being in the country.
I love Kentucky.

Belly is a Growin'!

Wanted to share some recent pictures, especially the ones taken last night, when Case climbed on my lap and was waving "Hi" to his little brother and giving my belly kisses! Absolutely melted my heart!

Well littlest man is growing like a weed! (He's also kicking like CRAZY!) We had another check up this past Monday, and the Doctor told me everything looked great!

I am 6 months along now, only about 14 weeks to go! It sounds like nothing when you say it like that! Yikes! Plus, if this baby wants to make his appearance early like his big brother did, then it's even less than that!

Hilton Head Island

Hilton Head Island, South Carolina
July 31- August 6, 2010

We all piled into our cars early Saturday morning to head toward the beach, and as soon as we got there, we threw our bags inside and ran straight to that ocean!

We had so much fun watching Avery and Case's reactions to the ocean! Avery said she thought it was big, but not THAT big, and Case dove right in! We literally had to drag him away when it was time to go! It was such a different reaction than last summer!

Amy's boys were off in Indiana since Cy's team were State Champs! They were able to make it down at the beginning of the week though, and we were so happy to have all the Marshalls with us, it was too quiet without 3 missing boys! :)

Here are a few moments we captured! :)

Taking a break from grilling to take a picture with me :)

Case and Avery cracking us up!

Is there anything better?

Absolutely Gorgeous!

The last night, we took some family pictures on the beach, it was SO windy but we did our best! :)

Walking to and from the house...

We had such a fun and wonderful week, days spent poolside, in the ocean, shopping, putt putting, golfing, relaxing...and we spent our last night eating at the Salty Dog Cafe in South Beach, and then walked around Harbour Town.

Counting down the days until our next vacation! :)
