The things Three Year Olds Say

"Mommy! The sun is looking at me! Ow! My eyes, the sun is LOOKING at me!"

Mommy: "Case, what are your dinosaurs names?"

Case: "Ummm, Rex, Drex and EAGLE!!!" 

(Gunner whining in his crate while we were eating dinner)

Case: "Mommy, Gunner is crying. He needs a friend. He needs CASE!" 

(Mommy kisses Case on the cheek)

(Case wipes it off) 

(Mommy starts fake crying) 

Case: "Mommy!! Don't be SAaaaaAAaaad!"

(Rhett's standing up in the tub)

Case to Rhett: "Sit down boy!"

Mommy: "Case, guess what! You get to go play with Mommom & Grand-dad today!"
Case: "Mommy go too??"
Mommy: Nope, not this time, Mommy is going to clean today, but you and Rhett get to go play at Mommom & Grand-dad's house!"
Case: "Umm, Rhett's gonna make a mess...Rhett can stay here, OKAY?" (With his head cocked to the side looking at me.
(CRACKED me up - he knows that when Rhett is there he can't play with all the cool toys with little pieces ;)

I'm Going to Eat You

Mommy: Case, you are so cute. I am going to eat you. 

Case: Nooo. (With a big grin on his face)

Mommy: But you are so cute, I just need to eat you. 

Case: (Dead serious) Mommy, no. I'm busy.

Mommy: You're busy? 

Case: I'm too busy. I'm watching Baby Class and eating pa-corn.

I love three year olds.
